In July 2018, Greg noticed a flyer on the gym bulletin board; a local shelter for homeless women and children was looking for volunteers. He emailed the contact, in the reply the coordinator for the shelter noticed on Greg’s email signature that he is a photographer and mentioned that they had a project that he might be able to help with. They were planning to create a fundraising calendar featuring images and stories of women in the community that were making a difference. Greg immediately volunteered and shortly after submitting the first few images he was given the reigns to be the artist director. The 2019 edition of the “Fearless Females” calendar raised $10,000 for the shelter, 2020 edition raised even more.
